Returning Student Registration is NOW OPEN!

FISD families, it’s time to register all returning students for the 2026–2027 school year.

Please complete registration by August 4 to help ensure your student receives transportation services on the first day of school.

If transportation changes are made on the first day of school, please allow two to three weeks for updates to take effect.

If your address has changed, please submit your updated proof of residence to your campus office.

As a reminder, Thursday, May 28 is a regular school day and not a half day. Please plan for normal arrival and dismissal times.

A few last day reminders:
✅ Bring everything home from lockers, classrooms, and cubbies
✅ Check lost and found before leaving campus
✅ Return any library books, Chromebooks, devices, chargers, or school items
✅ Follow regular dismissal procedures
✅ Celebrate safely and finish the year strong

Our Fifth Grade GT students had an unforgettable experience at iFLY! From exploring the science of wind tunnels to applying STEM concepts in real time, this trip was as educational as it was exciting. Students showed curiosity, courage, and collaboration every step of the way. Hands-on learning at its best—way to soar, GT scholars!

FSE appreciates our cafeteria staff everyday! This group goes above and beyond to make sure all 900+ kids are offered breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Thank you team for prioritizing our nutritional needs and for all you do everyday!!!! Tiny Tigers PTA stopped by with a special surprise for each of our staff members.

Floresville South Elementary proudly hosted its annual Fine Arts and STEM Night, showcasing the incredible talents and creativity of every student on campus. The event featured a wide range of student work, including art, crafts, pottery, electrical circuits, and mathematician creations, highlighting both artistic expression and innovative thinking.

We are so proud of our students and grateful for our dedicated rotation teachers who made this event possible and chose to celebrate just how amazing our students are. Their hard work and commitment truly shined through each display.

A heartfelt thank you to our South families for joining us and helping make the evening so special. It was a wonderful night of learning, creativity, and community!
