Throwback Thursday to Floresville South Elementary's GT Showcase!

Our GT students did a great job sharing their creativity, research, and hard work. Projects included student-created board games, topics they were personally interested in, and presentations highlighting countries where immigrants came from to America. Some students even brought food samples to help share what they learned!

⏰ Reminder: STAAR EOC Summer Testing

STAAR End-of-Course summer testing begins soon. Students who need to retake an EOC exam should review the schedule below and make plans to arrive on time.

Testing begins at 8:00 AM daily at Floresville High School.

📣 STAAR Results Update

Beginning in June, Floresville ISD families can log in to learn more about their child’s STAAR results.

End-of-Course results are available now. STAAR results for students who recently completed grades 3–8 will be available Tuesday, June 16.

From there, families can view scores, test questions, and personalized resources to support learning at home.

Floresville ISD is proud to celebrate the students, families and staff who continue to support and grow our Bilingual and ESL programs.

From Dual Language classrooms at the elementary level to ESL support in our secondary schools, these programs help our Emergent Bilingual students grow academically, socially and culturally.

This year, we have had so much to celebrate:

🎓 14 Dual Language students earned high school credit for Spanish I
🐝 3 students won their campus Spanish Spelling Bee and represented FISD at the Region 20 Spanish Spelling Bee
🏛️ 4 middle school students and 4 high school students are participating in Close Up, Austin! this week
📈 Several students are pending state assessment results for official reclassification

We also want to thank everyone who joined us for Family Community Bilingual Night. It was a wonderful evening of learning, connection and celebration with our growing emergent bilingual community.

Thank you to our students, families and staff for making these programs and events so successful. Together, we are helping every student feel supported, valued and ready to thrive.

Today, we shared that Floresville Early Childhood Center Principal Diana Wagner will be starting a new chapter outside of Floresville ISD.

As the first principal of FECC, Mrs. Wagner helped open the campus and build a welcoming place for our youngest students, staff, and families.

She will be greatly missed, and we are thankful for the leadership, care, and dedication she has given to FECC and Floresville ISD. We wish her all the best in this next opportunity.

Floresville ISD central office, department and campus public offices are open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. during the summer.

District offices will be closed on Fridays.
