How do your children pull up to the movies??

Dramatic play again??? YES!!!!!

Executive function refers to the brain's ability to manage focus, follow rules, and control impulses. A drive-in movie theater requires a lot of self-regulation. Children learn to navigate social norms unique to the setting, such as waiting patiently in line for tickets or sitting quietly while the "movie" is playing so they don't disturb others.

​Working Memory: They have to hold their specific role in mind (e.g., "I am the snack bar attendant so my job is to take money and show people the snacks that are for sale") and execute the steps that match that persona.

Children had to "drive" to the cinema and park their vehicles while waiting for the movie to start.

Their vehicles matched their personalities. If you look carefully we also have the fire department and police department in case of any "emergencies."

Play is crucial for a child's imagination, brain power, cognitive growth, social & emotional learning.
