✨Exciting News✨

Because of the incredible generosity of our dear partner, Neg Kreyòl (Neg Kreyol, Inc. ), six more students will be able to stay in school this upcoming academic year through the Zoë Scholarship Fund. ❤️🇭🇹

Their generous $1,500 gift will cover a full year of tuition for six children, opening doors to education, opportunity, and hope!

Every scholarship represents more than tuition. It represents a child who gets to remain in the classroom and build a brighter future.

Thank you, Neg Kreyòl, for believing in Haiti’s children and for partnering with P4H! Together, we are changing lives, one student at a time. 📚✨

Last night, the P4H Global team gathered to watch the Haiti vs. Morocco match together! 🇭🇹⚽

While the result wasn’t what we hoped for, we believe that Haiti left that game victorious!

We are victorious because our team showed up with heart. Victorious because our flag was seen on a global stage. Victorious because millions of Haitians around the world had a reason to stand together in pride, hope, and unity.

The P4H Global team will continue to cheer on not just our national soccer team but our entire nation!

It’s match day! The entire P4H Global team is sending love and support to the Haitian National Football Team! 🇭🇹

Today is extra special because Haiti, the first Black republic, takes the field against Brazil, the nation with the largest Black population outside Africa, today on Juneteenth, the day that commemorates the final enforcement of emancipation in the United States. And this all happens in Philly, home to one of the nation’s oldest and largest historic free Black communities.

As a nonprofit committed to the liberation and empowerment of Haitians through education, we feel the significance of this moment deeply. Today is about more than football. It is a powerful reminder of the resilience, brilliance, and determination of Black people across the Americas.

Today, we cheer for Haiti. We celebrate Black excellence. And we remember that the struggle for liberation, whether through education, sport, or community, is always worth fighting for.

Billy went from being an at risk student to becoming our very first Zoë Scholar, and today we celebrate his journey.

When we visited his classroom, Billy stood in front of his peers and shared his dream of becoming a teacher. He told us that one day he wants to change the lives of students the way his teachers have changed his life. As he spoke about his future, tears filled his eyes.

Afterward, we pulled him aside to learn more about what had moved him so deeply. What he shared broke our hearts and inspired us at the same time.

Billy loves school. But despite his passion for education, he was missing a significant number of school days each month because he had to take odd jobs to pay his own tuition. With no parents actively involved in his life, Billy was carrying the burden of providing for himself while trying to stay in school.

At that moment, we knew we could help.

Billy became the very first Zoë Scholar.

Today, he attends school consistently, excels academically, and continues to pursue his dream of becoming a teacher. His story reminds us that talent is everywhere, but opportunity is not. Sometimes all a child needs is someone to believe in them and remove the barriers standing between them and their future.

Today, there are 19 students just like Billy whose lives are being transformed through the Zoë Scholarship Fund. With just $250 a year, generous donors have help to change the future of these students!

We are seeing positive results in these students lives and we know this is only the beginning!

The buzz in our office this week? Haiti vs. Brazil.

As our team travels across Haiti training teachers, we’ve discovered that the upcoming World Cup match between Haiti and Brazil has become much more than a game. It’s become a point of connection.

Between training sessions, lesson planning, and conversations about education, teachers and staff alike are sharing predictions, friendly rivalries, and dreams for Haiti on the world stage!

Haiti, the first Black republic, takes the field against Brazil, the nation with the largest Black population outside Africa, on Juneteenth, the day that commemorates the final enforcement of emancipation in the United States. This is going to be EPIC!

We are excited for this Friday… how about you?

We just received applications from these brilliant Haitian students to become Zoë Scholars! Each of these children are high performing but each of them are at risk of being released from school because of the cost of tuition. Their school directors highly recommended them to the P4H team and we’d love to present their bright and shiny faces to you.

Wed love to match each student with a sponsor who will literally change their lives. Staying in school is an opportunity of a lifetime. Would you consider investing in the future of Haiti’s future leaders? With just $250 a year, you can change a life today!

Side note : These children are phenomenal! They are so filled with energy and love for country and love for education! They deserve the world ❤️🇭🇹.

Visit p4hglobal.org/scholarship or email us at [email protected] and we will match you with one of these students!

As we conducted classroom observations, we noticed a group of students in the school courtyard playing soccer with a worn tennis ball.

We couldn’t help but think about Haiti’s historic appearance on the world’s biggest stage. Seeing our national team compete in the World Cup has done more than inspire excitement. It has expanded what is possible in the minds of children across Haiti!

We paused to capture this photo because it tells a powerful story.

Because of the World Cup, their dreams are a little bit bigger.

And we’re here to help them reach their potential. 🇭🇹💪🏿

TODAY IS THE DAY! We’re in the World Cup!

After a long week of training teachers across Haiti, last night the P4H Global team put down their uniforms and picked up their jersey! Today, our only focus is football because our country takes the field on the world’s biggest stage!

Our team woke up with so much hope and excitement! Today is going to be a GOOD DAY! 🇭🇹
