A HUGE thank you to our friend, Noah, for collecting donations for Classroom Ready as part of his Capstone Project at Legion Collegiate Academy. These supplies will help us continue to serve the students of the FMSD.

Please donate to Classroom Ready this coming MLK Call to Service Day. The students of the FMSD would be so thankful.

Classroom Ready never stops preparing to assist our FMSD students. If you are so inclined during your holiday shopping to pick up a few extra items, we are in need of 1.5 inch binders and college ruled composition notebooks. Items can be dropped off in the big blue bin outside of our supply room at 120 E. Elliott Street, behind the Magistrate Court. As always, we appreciate the support from our amazing community.

Approximately 1 in 10 children in our community are food insecure. In a school system of nearly 20,000 students, we know that many of them do not have basic food and nutritional requirements. This impacts a learner’s ability to perform in school when their basic needs are unmet.

The Foundation has installed a Snack Shack in all FMSD Schools.
