He was born from two slaves, so you know struggle was no stranger to this man. Born in Dayton, Ohio. His work (poetry) made waves through so many people, even till this day. His work had a meaning, influencing writers of the “Harlem Renaissance” in the 1920s(Pivotal time period). He was a trailblazer! Although he lived 33years, his work is felt in year 2022!

If you lack knowledge of this man, I advise you to do your research and indulge on his greatness!! I know I am!

Much appreciation to the legendary for showing me some love on my last post. This legendary rap group has a major staple on my childhood💯 my pops use to play their music everyday and I still listen to them today, matter of fact I’m bumpin the “Soul Food” album right now! This just shows, I’m on the right track, will continue to do what I’m doing, just taking it a level higher everyday!
