2nd Amnesty International Leader Is Detained in Turkey The director of the group’s office in Istanbul was being held, as were seven other activists. The chairman of the group’s Turkey chapter was detained last month.

Join Amnesty International this upcoming Tuesday at 6pm in Reed Hall 249, where we are hosting a Writing Campaign!! Where participants will take part in writing letters/ emails to the staff of Congress, the White House and our local government, to advocate for our rights and discuss our views relating to the policies President Trump has brought to light.

Hello Everyone!

Reminder: There will be a meeting today at 6:30-7:30 in Lib 443.

We will cover the success of the donations for the Hurricane Drive, in addition to the honors event tomorrow of the screening of "The Internet's Own Boy."

The French Club will be tabling out in Miromar Outlets on Friday, October 21st @ 6 p.m. to collect donations for Haiti, in order to contribute further to donations already collected in collaboration with Amnesty International, International Club, and Caribbean Student Association. Please come out and support!

Amnesty International, in collaboration with the Fgcu Intl Srvs, will also be having its own Hurricane Relief Drive next week in support of Haiti! All donations will be sent to Centre de Saint Jean-Bosco in Jeremie. Come and support the cause 👏🏼🌎

Hurricane Relief Drive, lead by student leader Carlie Pierre, will take place tomorrow in the Student Plaza from 11am - 2 pm. All donations will go to an orphanage located in Centre de Saint Jean-Bosco in Jeremie. Come out and support 👏🏼
