Look what the fishing class reeled in today!🎣

What a catch! While our fishing class was off exploring the waters near Sanibel and landing some impressive fish, our sailing class was cruising down the river on Hobies, enjoying the wind and putting their sailing skills to the test.

Two different adventures, one unforgettable day on the water!

🎣⚓ The fishing class had a great day on the water, despite the windy conditions.

Our Opti sailors stuck with it as long as they could, showing determination and great attitudes despite the challenging conditions. When the wind chose chaos, we made the call to bring everyone in safely.

Meanwhile, our Powerboat Safety students got a real-world lesson that docking is a lot tougher when the wind is howling and the water is choppy! While challenging, it was a valuable opportunity to practice boat handling skills and learn how weather conditions can affect every move on the water.

Not every lesson comes on a calm day, and today was full of learning, resilience, and hands-on experience. We're proud of all our students for rising to the challenge! 🌬️🎣🚤

The fish were definitely biting, and the boys had a great day on the water learning new skills, making memories, and reeling in some impressive catches. Check out what they caught today!

That’s a wrap on Week 2 at Edison Sailing Center!

This week brought light winds, lots of laughter, new sailing skills, and even a few "finned" friends stopping by to check out the action. 🦈🐬

We wrapped up the week by showing off everything we learned for our family and friends. From confident tacks and jibes to big smiles on the water, our sailors made us proud all week long.

Thank you to our amazing families for sharing your kids with us. We can't wait to see what adventures Week 3 brings! ☀️🌊⛵️

Today we worked on our tacking and jibing skills and had an amazing reach across the river. The wind was perfect for learning, building confidence, and having fun on the water.

Session 2 is off to a great start! Even though the winds have been light, we're still getting out on the water and making the most of every opportunity to learn. Building skills, gaining experience, and having a great time along the way. ⛵️🌊

☀️ And just like that, week one of summer sailing is in the books! ⛵️

We wrapped up an amazing first week with our awesome Minnow crew, and while the sailors may get the spotlight, none of it would happen without our incredible instructors and Blue Shirts who bring the energy, encouragement, patience, and fun every single day. 💙

Thank you for helping create confidence, memories, friendships, and plenty of smiles out on the water. Here’s to a summer full of adventures—we’re just getting started! 🌊☀️⛵️

Day two of Minnows brought some good wind from Mother Nature, so we took advantage of it! 🌬️⛵ We opted for Hobies today and spent the morning reaching across the river, chasing puffs and making the most of every breeze. Safe to say the adventure continued and the smiles did 😎🌊
