Last Thursday, Kindergarten had their annual Easter Egg Hunt. The students had so much fun! Thank you to everyone who donated eggs and volunteered their time to help out!

This week is Assistant Principal Week! We want to recognize our wonderful Assistant Principal Mr.Peters! Thank you for all you do for us! 🌊

Yesterday our amazing Coach Morgan and Coach Marcus hosted our Field Day! Thank you so much for putting it together. The students had an amazing time! Shoutout to the 5th grade girls that won the 5th grade Tug-of-War Championship!

Fourth Grade recently had the opportunity to learn about what it takes to become a doctor. One of our parents, Dr. Deepesh Khanna, volunteered to teach our students about the medical profession. His presentation included learning about first aid, body science, healthy habits, and the requirements needed for patient care.

Thank you so much to our wonderful PTO for creating these amazing rooms for Read Across America Week! Our students had so much fun listening to stories in them!

Third grade had an unforgettable day at Farmer Mike’s! Students enjoyed picking fresh tomatoes and strawberries and choosing a beautiful sunflower to take home. 🌻🍓🍅

Mrs Drake’s students officially completed the Life Cycle of a Butterfly unit — from tiny caterpillars to beautiful butterflies!🐛🦋We also explored symmetry and celebrated with our famous 2D shape pizzas. The students identified shapes like pros while creating some very “geometric cuisine.” Safe to say we now have a class full of butterfly experts, symmetry superstars, and future pizza designers!

On Friday, Rayma hosted a Special Olympics! Our students had so much fun! 🌊

After reading Drum Dream Girl, inspired by the life of Millo Castro Zaldarriaga, students in Ms. McKenna’s class tried making their own rhythms on conga and bongo drums!

Mr. Wheeler’s classes are working on order of operations!

Our kindergarten students have been working so hard during centers! They are building their reading, writing and maths skills while practicing independence, problem-solving and teamwork. So proud of their effort and enthusiasm.

Kindergarten has been learning about Space, and finished their unit on Friday with a “Space Day”! The students got to make and wear their astronaut helmets while eating some Astronaut Ice Cream!
