"The official FB page for OHMS." Oak Hammock Middle School opened in Fort Myers, Florida in 2008 and became a Magnet School for the Arts in October 2018.
The largest middle school in Lee County, Oak Hammock Middle School Center for the Arts is home to more than 1,100 students in grades 6-8. Students are encouraged to enroll in an arts-rich curriculum that includes dance, performance and technical drama, culinary arts, orchestra, band, chorus, visual arts, T.V. production, digital design, and industrial technology.

Congratulations to all our amazing Ospreys who performed at last week’s All Arts Show! The event was outstanding and overflowing with talent from every corner of our arts programs, musical theater, strings ensemble, Music Production, Band, Latin jazz band, visual arts, and dance.

Congratulations to our OHMS Book Battle Team for earning 3rd place at the District Book Battle Competition! 📚✨ We are incredibly proud of these Ospreys, who competed against 13 teams and represented our school with excellence. Great job, Ospreys! 👏👏👏

OHMS Teachers and Staff are TOTALLY RAD!
Today was another highlight in what has been a fantastic Teacher Appreciation Week.
We kicked off the morning with delicious pancakes from GCE, bringing smiles all around.
At lunchtime, everyone enjoyed a fun grill‑out lunch, adding even more joy to the day.
We wrapped things up with even more gift card giveaways, made possible through the generous support of our amazing parents and business partners.
A huge THANK YOU to every parent and partner who helped make this week unforgettable for our teachers. This would not be possible without your support.

Teacher Appreciation Week just keeps getting better. This morning’s delicious breakfast came from Crossroads Baptist Church, and the afternoon brought mouthwatering tacos from Paco's Tacos Food Truck.
Huge shoutout to these amazing partners for fueling our teachers and filling the day with joy.
