After graduating this spring with a degree in journalism and a minor in political science, Samuel turned his internship into a full-time role as a multimedia journalist and weekend radio host.

A few weeks ago, our FGCU Alumni Association Leadership Academy spent the day exploring one of Southwest Florida’s greatest treasures—our environment!

The cohort had the opportunity to hear from Captain Bob Beville of Captains For Clean Water, learning how advocacy and community engagement are helping protect and restore Florida’s waterways. They also visited FGCU’s Vester Field Station, where Dr. Michael Parsons shared how research and hands-on learning are driving real impact for our coastal ecosystems.

The day wrapped up with an Eco Boat Tour led by Captain Marlin Smith, giving participants a firsthand look at the natural beauty and wildlife that make Southwest Florida so special.

A big thank you to Captain Bob, Dr. Parsons, Captain Marlin, and the entire Vester team for such an impactful and inspiring experience!

Our NYC Eagles came together on Long Island this weekend at Del Vino Vineyards for a relaxed afternoon of wine, food, and connection 🍷

It’s always great seeing alumni gather, catch up, and enjoy time together in such a beautiful setting.

We love seeing our Eagles all around the country stay connected—no matter where life takes you 💙

The golf was questionable. The Eagle spirit was not! ⛳️

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Swing Into Summer this past weekend at Topgolf Fort Myers. We had such a great time spending the afternoon with fellow Eagles and seeing so many familiar (and new) faces come together.
