Summer is a great time to get ahead ✍️📚

This month, students had the opportunity to work with our College Counselor, Mrs. Kaminsky, during a series of Summer College Essay Workshops.

Through multiple sessions, students focused on developing, refining, and strengthening the essays that will help tell their stories during the college admissions process. From brainstorming ideas to polishing final drafts, these workshops helped students take an important step toward their future goals.

A big thank you to Mrs. Kaminsky for sharing her expertise and helping our students put their best foot forward.

A random Summer Tuesday at Verot ☀️

This week alone, our football team was hard at work on the field, youth campers were sharpening their skills, Prep Baseball brought some of the area's top talent to campus, and prospective families were getting their first look at Verot through admissions tours.

It's one of the things we love most about summer at Verot. The classrooms may be empty, but the campus is still full of energy.

Verot Athletics is holding a one day screening here on campus, required for all incoming freshman and new athletes (but encouraged for ALL athletes to register).

⚠️ Pre-registration is REQUIRED — all student-athletes must register in advance to participate. If you preregister, parents do not have to be in attendance.

This screening is required for ALL Bishop Verot athletes.

Incoming Freshman athletes must have this completed by July 1st in order to participate in Summer conditioning. Additionally, this must be completed before any Freshman athletes can start a sport this coming school year.

Summer may be in full swing, but learning hasn't stopped for these future Vikings. 📚☀️

Now in its second week, our Summer Reading class is helping incoming students get a head start on their coursework while making the transition into high school a little smoother.

With guidance from Mrs. Ward, students are tackling their summer reading early, building confidence, and getting their first taste of life at Verot before the school year even begins!

In this episode, recent Bishop Verot graduate Ambrielle Calixte joins us to reflect on her time as a Viking and share the story of her faith journey.

From the lessons she learned in the classroom to the experiences that shaped her relationship with Christ, Ambrielle offers a thoughtful look back at the people, moments, and opportunities that helped prepare her for the next chapter.

School shopping started today! 👕⚔️

Our Used Uniform Sale is happening now and runs until 2:00 PM. With plenty of pre-screened, gently worn uniform items available at reduced prices, it's a great opportunity to get a head start on next school year.

Last week’s House activities gave us our first glimpse of what campus life will look like without the Class of 2026.

And if the energy in the rooms was any indication… we’re going to be just fine ⚡

Even at the very end of the school year, the excitement, competitiveness, and community spirit were through the roof. A great reminder that while one class moves on, the traditions and energy that make Verot special continue on with the next group ready to step up.
