If you are considering resigning your employment contract with your district, you have up to the 45th calendar day before the first day of instruction with students to resign penalty-free.

After that date, you may be subject to sanctions with the State Board for Educator Certification.

Don’t get caught unaware. Grab your district’s instructional calendar and count back 45 calendar days from the first day with students to find your district's penalty-free resignation date!
