“He always told me to leave this place better than we found it.”
For Mark Sayegh ’26, those words became more than advice—they became a mission. Inspired by his father's commitment to conservation, Mark founded One Shade Greener, a nonprofit dedicated to environmental stewardship through community cleanups, sustainability initiatives, and educational outreach. 🌱
Since its founding, OneShadeGreener has expanded beyond TCU to campuses across multiple states, empowering students to create tangible change in their communities. Mark's leadership and impact earned him recognition as TCU's 2025 Outstanding Senior! 🐸
On World Environment Day, we're proud to celebrate a Horned Frog alum whose commitment to service is helping make the world just a little greener—one shade at a time. 🌎

Live from New York, it’s Jeremy Culhane ’14! 🐸🏙️
Tonight, Culhane wraps up a wildly successful first season on Saturday Night Live.
“’SNL’ is a beautiful thing that you can never promise yourself, because it’s just so rare that it actually happens,” Culhane told the Fort Worth Star-Telegram in a phone interview. “I was just even happy to get to audition. I was just happy to be invited to the party.”

In honor of , we’re proud to spotlight Anna Menon ’08! 🚀
A key member of the Polaris Dawn mission, Anna was part of the crew that achieved the first commercial spacewalk and traveled farther into space than any woman in history.
At TCU, Anna studied mathematics and Spanish, building a strong foundation for her groundbreaking career. Reflecting on her time here, she shares: “One of the things that I remember about how TCU set me up for my career is that it had very small class sizes. I remember my classes often had just four or five people in them. We developed these wonderful relationships with our professors.”
Talk about Horned Frog pride that’s truly out of this world! 🐸
