Preceptor Spotlight: Lynn Nguyen, PA‑C ✨

We’re proud to highlight Lynn Nguyen, PA‑C, a dermatology preceptor at Wellworx who was nominated by students for her outstanding compassion, teaching, and leadership.

Students shared: “Observing her interactions with patients has been a great privilege and has reinforced the importance of patient‑centered care, communication, and trust.” ; "Her ability to speak multiple languages helped her connect with patients from so many diverse backgrounds and make them feel comfortable, understood, and heard.” ; “From my very first day, both she and her staff made me feel so welcomed—it was as if I were eating lunch with my family!”

Lynn’s journey to becoming a PA began in college after witnessing the compassion of a neuro PA during a family medical crisis. She has now spent 8 years in dermatology, building a thriving practice and mentoring the next generation of PAs.

We are grateful for the meaningful role she plays in shaping our students’ clinical experiences. Thank you, Lynn, for your dedication to patient care and PA education. 💙

Madison joins us with experience right here at UNT Health, where she supported financial operations, contracts, and administrative processes. Her experience, combined with her strong attention to detail and organizational skills, will play an important role in supporting our department’s daily operations and long-term success.

We’re excited to introduce one of the newest additions to our team, Savannah Elkins, MPAS, PA-C, who joined us in November and has already made a strong impression!

After successfully teaching her first course, she’s preparing to lead her next—continuing to inspire and support our students every step of the way.

As a proud alum, she shared that joining the faculty felt like a natural extension of her journey—giving back to the program that helped shape her career.

Her goal is to encourage students to recognize their resilience and support them in defining and achieving their own success—something she’s passionate about after experiencing the journey herself.
