TCU Nursing Study Abroad, London 2026 ~ In addition to learning about healthcare in the UK, the trip also included a number of British cultural experiences. Students enjoyed afternoon tea on a double decker bus, toured Parliament and the Tower of London, saw the musical Six, and visited Dover and Windsor on day trips outside the city. Frogs in London! 💜🐸🇬🇧

TCU Nursing Study Abroad, London 2026 ~ Students had a variety of opportunities to learn about healthcare in the UK through site visits, tours, and classroom discussions. The group visited 2 NHS public hospitals, 1 private hospital, a cancer center, an A&E (emergency dept) & a transplant center. They toured an operating room from the early 1800s & the Florence Nightingale Museum. In addition, they met local nursing students and learned from nurses, physicians & other providers with extensive experience in the NHS, military, and private sector. Very thankful for the many healthcare professionals who gave their time to expand the group’s understanding of UK healthcare and how it compares to the system in the US.

Even more exciting—Dr. Beth Rogers was honored with the Research Excellence Award, recognizing her outstanding contributions to advancing the field.

Our team also had the opportunity to present “Trailblazing Best Practice: Applying the Healthcare Simulation Standards of Best Practice® to Multiple-Patient Simulation,” sharing innovative approaches that are shaping the future of nursing education.

Beyond the awards and presentations, this conference was filled with inspiration—new technologies, fresh ideas, and meaningful connections. Our faculty returned energized, motivated, and ready to continue elevating student learning experiences.

The future of nursing education is bright, and TCU is proud to be part of leading the way.
