Summer learning is in full swing, and our students are putting in the work through Fort Worth ISD's Advanced Academic Immersion (A2I) Summer Acceleration Program! 📚➕✏️

Designed to prepare students for rigorous coursework and future success in AP and college-level classes, A2I gives students the opportunity to accelerate their learning in mathematics while sharpening the critical thinking and problem-solving skills that will serve them well beyond the classroom.

From Honors Algebra I to Honors Precalculus, these students are spending their summer challenging themselves, building confidence, and investing in their futures. We are proud of their commitment and dedication to academic excellence!

Curiosity, creativity and hands-on learning were on full display at Camp Enrich! 🌟 Last week, Gifted & Talented and Talent Pool students from across the district spent four days exploring topics that sparked their interests and challenged their thinking. From STEM and leadership to creativity and critical thinking, students engaged in enriching experiences designed to inspire learning and showcase their talents.

The week concluded with a special student showcase, where families had the opportunity to see the incredible products and performances students created throughout camp.

Thank you to our teachers and staff for providing meaningful, student-centered experiences and to our families for celebrating the amazing work of our students. We can't wait to see where their curiosity takes them next! 💡

We love our substitutes! We had a great time yesterday rewarding our substitutes for all their hard work and effort during the past school year by handing out giftbags and other goodies during our Substitute Appreciation event! 👏

Amon Carter-Riverside High School senior Cristo Hernandez experienced the opportunity of a lifetime as a flag bearer during the Japan vs. Netherlands World Cup match at AT&T Stadium.

After undergoing major reconstructive surgery earlier this year, Cristo shared his love for sports with a Child Life specialist at Cook's Children. That conversation led to an unforgettable call and an invitation to take part in one of the world's biggest sporting events.

Now, Cristo has a memory that will last a lifetime.

We're proud to see him represent Fort Worth and the Carter-Riverside community on soccer's biggest stage. 👏⚽️
