Friendship families,
We are happy to share that most of the food boxes from our first two summer distributions have already been picked up, with just a few remaining to be collected . We hope these food boxes are a blessing to the families who requested them and help provide a little extra support during the summer months.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of St. Martin in the Fields Episcopal Church and SOS International we are able to provide another opportunity to pick up food at Friendship.
If a food box would help your family meet food needs this summer, please complete the request form below. These boxes will be available for pick-up beginning the week of July 6. I will send an email when they are available for pick-up.

If you picked up a food earlier this month, you are absolutely welcome to request another one if your family has a need. We know that feeding children additional meals throughout the summer can create extra expenses, and we want these resources to support as many Friendship families as possible. While anyone may submit a request, these requests are limited to Friendship families as part of our partnership with St. Martin in the Fields Episcopal Church.
We are continually reminded of how fortunate we are to have such caring community partners who invest in our Friendship students and families. If you or your child would like to draw a picture or write a thank-you note, we would be delighted to pass those along to the volunteers and community partners who are helping provide food this summer. We know they would love hearing how their generosity is making a difference for your family.
Warmly,
Casey Necessary
Principal

Today we celebrate Father’s Day and take time to honor the fathers and father figures who play such an important role in the lives of our students.
We are grateful for the steady support, encouragement, and care they provide each day—whether as dads, grandfathers, guardians, or other important role models. Thank you for the love, guidance, and example you set for our children. Wishing all of our Friendship families a wonderful Father’s Day. 💙

A huge thank you to the team at St. Martin-in-the-Fields Episcopal Church for another generous food delivery today!
We’re also grateful to Coach Cutting for making a special trip up to the school to receive the pallet when it arrived.
Because of the continued support and partnership of St. Martin in the Fields, we’ve been able to provide food assistance to Friendship families throughout the summer. We are so thankful for community partners who help us care for and support our Charger families long after the school year ends. ❤️💛

A huge THANK YOU to our amazing community partner, SOS International! ❤️⚡
Today, we stopped by their loading dock to pick up additional food items, including cereal, chips, drinks, and other pantry staples that will help us continue supporting Friendship families throughout the summer.
SOS International is one of several incredible community partners that help us meet the needs of our students and families throughout the year. We are so grateful for the generosity, kindness, and support of organizations that invest in our Friendship community.
📢 Keep an eye on ParentSquare for information about our next food distribution request form. We look forward to sharing more opportunities for families to receive support later this summer.
Thank you, SOS International, for helping us make a difference for Friendship families!

🎉✨ Who’s New Wednesday! ✨🎉
Help us give a big Friendship welcome to Mrs. Aria Stevens, our new PreK Teacher! ❤️🍎
Mrs. Stevens brings 10 years of experience in education and is excited to begin her journey with the Friendship family. She shared that she can already tell relationships and student success are truly a priority here, and she has felt incredibly welcomed from the start. 🌟
Outside of school, Mrs. Stevens loves spending time with her family and especially enjoys traveling with them. ✈️💛
Fun fact: Mrs. Stevens loves lifting weights and doing CrossFit! She enjoys challenging herself and seeing how far she can push herself in each class. 💪🏋️♀️
We are so excited to welcome Mrs. Stevens to Friendship and can’t wait for the positivity, experience, and enthusiasm she will bring to our PreK students each day. 💙

Need a little extra help with groceries today? We still have food available today thanks to the generosity of our community partner, Milestone Church. If your family could use some support, we have pre-packaged food boxes ready for pickup at Friendship Elementary.
Each package includes a variety of shelf-stable items such as marinara pasta sauce, unsweetened applesauce, pinto beans, mac 'n sauce, pasta, canned chicken, diced pears, beef stew, mixed vegetables, green peas, and pantry fresh milk. Please note: these items come together as one complete package and are not available for individual selection.
Our front office is open today until 5:00 PM (other than from 10:50-11:10), and we would be honored to share these boxes with any Friendship family who could use support this weekend.
We are grateful for our community partners and for the opportunity to support our Friendship families. 💙

Outside of school, Ms. Eboney enjoys painting, DIY projects, building with Legos, traveling to new places, and trying new foods and adventurous experiences (including cruising!) 🎨✈️🧱🌍
