Young Engines - High Performance Race & Street Engines

We are going to do some testing on valve size vs power in a kart engine. The engine is a Tillotson 196 cc shortblock (designed for stocker classes). I will be installing a clone head (from Mike at clone engine parts online), it's set up for a 27mm intake, 25mm exhaust package. I will flow it and then dyno it ...then I will be installing a 32mm intake valve, and only blending the bowl to the seat..reflow and redyno.... let's see what happens.

I have had four people report wins this weekend with heads and carbs we built... I cant begin to thank everyone enough for allowing us to be part of there racing program . I cant name everyone who runs our stuff.. some don't want the competition to know (I understand), But if you are a customer (I consider all customers friends), feel free to post on my page .......

Each motor, each head, each carburetor is made to perform at its maximum ability. Barry builds everything as if he were going to be racing it, himself.

Announcing new Kart/Mini Bike products...
"MaxFlow" by Young Engines consists of reworked carburetors and heads by Honda, Clone, and Predator. Heads will be available from a ported stock size, to a large ported valve size. Custom milling will be available, as well. The carburetors will range from stock size, small block to large bore, big block (GX390 style). All heads and carburetors are flow and inertia dyno tested before shipment.

Saturday, June 29th, was a great night for Mike Frye at 311 Speedway. Powered with a Young Racing Engine, Frye took 1st place in the Mod 4 Division. Congratulation, Mike Frye!

I shouldn't waste my time or energy, but what the heck:
99% of Barry's customers are happy. With racing, things break. If you take your motor to another engine builder, that builder is NOT going to say, "That is the best engine work I have ever seen. You should take your business back to him." They have to make a living, too. This is simple, common sense!
