We are so excited to share that Hicks Elementary PTA has earned the President’s Challenge Award! We received this award by hosting a meaningful family engagement event (Hicks Around the World, Fall Carnival, and Spring Dance to name a few!) and increasing our membership! These events brought people together and inspired our campus community. That’s what building a brighter tomorrow is all about! Cynthia Chaffee Padin - you are a ROCK STAR!! Your contributions have helped Hicks shine and make a lasting impact on our school community!! Thank you!

Reminder for families! Our student information system is transitioning to a new and improved platform this summer — Skyward Qmlativ. Here's what that means for your family between now and the first day of school:

📌 Now – July 17 | Skyward SMS is available in read-only mode. If there are documents you may need this summer — unofficial transcripts, report cards, records, etc. — download them before July 17.

📌 July 13 | Online enrollment reopens in the new Qmlativ system.

📌 July 17 – Aug. 2 | The Skyward app will be temporarily offline. A browser link will be available during this window for document access.

📌 Aug. 3 | Family Access opens in Skyward Qmlativ! Delete and reinstall the Skyward app on your device and sign back in to get started.

📌 Aug. 5 at 4 p.m. | Student schedules are released for all grade levels.

Because of you, Hicks PTA membership matched at least 50% of the school’s enrollment, you all helped ensure students at Tom Hicks Elementary School are represented by a strong PTA voice.

We are thrilled to announce that the Texas Department of Agriculture has recognized Lewisville ISD’s Child Nutrition department for its participation in the Farm Fresh Challenge. For the first time in district history, Lewisville ISD has earned the highest honor, the "Cream of the Crop" award. This prestigious recognition celebrates our dedication to serving Texas-grown fruits and vegetables while educating students on the vital role of Texas agriculture

Loved seeing some of our Hicks Spanish Immersion students and teachers at Spanish Camp this summer! ⚽️
Their theme, ¡Golazo!, celebrated the excitement and spirit surrounding the FIFA World Cup. What a fun way to learn, connect, and practice Spanish while enjoying all things soccer!
