We had a great run everyone! Thank you parents and families for your support.

SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY- 5/17/2026

Last Call to dust off your instrument and play with the Staley Band for the FINAL TIME EVER! Current members, former members, friends/family of the band- all are welcome to join us as we play some music together for the last time at FISD's Retirement of our campus ceremony.

We are meeting tomorrow in the band hall at 12:30 for some pizza & to get organized. We will transition to the cafe around 1:20 and start playing shortly after that. Wear Staley gear or a blue t-shirt.

You do not have to RSVP to attend- but it helps us have an idea for set up and food. We will have some copies available, but feel free to download or print your own music before you arrive. *note we added instrument packs which make it easier to print or view just your part without going through ten folders*.

We would love to have a packed house for our final advanced band concert of the year! If you are a current or former Staley Band student/family- this is the last major performance before we close our campus at the end of the year.

The concert takes place in the Staley Cafe
Doors will open at 5:45
Honor band performs at 6:00
Symphonic bad performs at 6:30
Concert should finish around 7:00

These are the major events planned for the end of the year. Alumni and former families are encouraged to attend our Spring concert and Retirement event- there may even be a chance to dust off your instrument and play our fight song one last time!

Valentine Grams Sales starts tomorrow! (Friday, Feb 6) Delicious Hershey kisses delivered to your friends, teachers, Valentines, etc on Thursday, February 12!

We are starting collections for our Band sponsored Valentine Fundraiser for the entire school. Band families, we would be grateful if you could please help us out by sending in Hershey kisses.

We are are in the beginning phases of our legacy celebration as we prepare for FISD to close our school.

There will be more information coming for the PTA and general discrict events, but we would also like to have a time for just band alumni sometime in late April. Please visit www.staleyband.org/legacy to donate, share photos, and stories of your time at Staley. All money raised will go directly to our 501(c)3 booster club which supports the SMS band.
