We are proud to launch our annual digital week-long celebration of Black girlhood in practice—a space where joy, brilliance, creativity, and possibility are not imagined, but lived.
This week, we honor the organizations, spaces, and people who do the everyday work of holding, uplifting, and walking alongside Black girls as they learn, lead, and dream expansively.
At BGC, we believe:
Black girlhood is research.
Black girlhood is knowledge.
Black girlhood is futures.
Join us all week as we highlight organizations doing this work in practice—centering girls not as participants, but as knowledge producers, leaders, and change agents.
