One of our CIED incubator companies, Women Working with Women, is hosting a community food distribution event on Saturday, June 27, 2026, beginning at 9:30 a.m. at Lincoln Middle School in Gainesville.

This is a wonderful opportunity to serve families in our community and help make sure no person goes hungry.

⏰ Volunteer check-in: 7:00 a.m.
🥕 Food distribution begins at 9:30 a.m. while supplies last.

This month, CIED is proud to spotlight Curate Medical, a virtual-first healthcare company changing the way women across Florida experience menopause and midlife care.

Founded by Dr. Lisa Chacko, Curate Medical was created to help close a gap many women know too well — feeling dismissed, overwhelmed, or left to navigate menopause and overall health care on their own.

Curate Medical specializes in menopause-informed primary care, combining expert clinical care, care coordination, and ongoing support through both membership-based and appointment-based services.

Their work is helping women feel seen, heard, and supported through one of the most important transitions of life.

BLAAC Queens Room, in collaboration with Terri Bailey Chats, is hosting two upcoming creative and restorative experiences designed to bring women together through sisterhood, creativity, reflection, and connection.

Join them for Sister Circle: Creative Playdate on June 23 at 3 PM — an afternoon of creativity, laughter, self-care, and meaningful connection.

They are also offering Rest Is Not Something You Earn, a live online writing-to-heal workshop with Terri L. Bailey on Sunday, June 28, 2026, from 3:00 PM–4:30 PM EST. This session will provide a safe space to write, release, rest, and reconnect with yourself.
