Yesterday the ELI was given a tour by the amazing volunteers and students of UF Ethnoecology Garden ! We learned all about sustainability, composting techniques, and even had the chance to sample some vegetables they’ve been growing all year round! Thank you to everyone who came out, and thank you to our wonderful ethnogarden tour guides! 🌻🌻

Three words to describe last week? Lit. Crazy. Movie. We had so much fun at our regular activities, coffee talk and volleyball! Museum nights was also a blast, we spent the evening at the Harn Museum drawing and designing self portraits 🖌️🖼️ This weekend, we explored Gainesville at the Haile Market and Santa Fe Zoo! We are thrilled to collaborate with our students and alumni to build bridges. Click to read about Jeftey Saint Fleur's journey to UF ELI, and the CEE Change Leadership Institute, to create an important partnership that encourages our students to work for change. Jeftey states that Green Bridges is "an opportunity for students to build civic identity, share cultural perspectives, and feel a sense of belonging in Gainesville" through volunteering to clean up our beautiful Florida environment. Thank you Jeftey and volunteers!

Thank you to the EducationUSA Advisors that visited University of Florida! We are grateful for the work they do all over the world to educate families about the best universities in the United States.
