🍽️👩‍🍳 The Great MMS Cooking Adventure: A Delicious Day in the Kitchen! 👨‍🍳✨

Our campers had another incredible day cooking from scratch and learning that some of the best meals are the ones you make yourself!

Today's menu featured homemade chicken nuggets, homemade macaroni and cheese made with a classic béchamel sauce, and a fresh garden salad with both homemade ranch dressing and homemade balsamic vinaigrette. 🥗🧀🍗

In the afternoon, campers enjoyed a movie break with The Princess and the Frog while snacking on oil-popped popcorn and the cake pops they made earlier in the week. 🍿🎬🐸

From cooking techniques and kitchen safety to teamwork and creativity, our campers are discovering that preparing a meal from scratch can be both rewarding and a whole lot of fun. Every day brings new recipes, new skills, and plenty of delicious memories! 💛

🍽️👩‍🍳 The Great MMS Cooking Adventure Continues! 👨‍🍳🍪

Another delicious and fun-filled day is underway at The Great MMS Cooking Adventure!

Today, our campers prepared pasta and meatballs, cake pops, and cookies, while also getting a head start on upcoming recipes by chopping vegetables for tacos and salads later in the week. 🌮🥗

The fun didn’t stop in the kitchen! Students also decorated their aprons, watched another episode of Kids Baking Championship for inspiration, and continued working on woven potholders, adding a creative touch to their culinary adventures. 🧵🎨👩‍🍳

This camp is about so much more than cooking—it's about creativity, teamwork, patience, and learning new skills every day. With each recipe and activity, our young chefs are building confidence and making memories that are sure to last long after the week is over. 💛✨

🎶🥁 Making Music at SOUND Summer Camp! 🎵✨

Our Beginner students (ages 2–3) are having a wonderful time exploring the world of sound in Ms. Lizzy Levensohn’s SOUND-themed summer camp!

This week, students had a special visit from our music teacher, Ms. Penta Rose, who helped our youngest learners discover the joy of making music. Through singing, movement, rhythm, and hands-on musical exploration, students experimented with different sounds while building listening skills, coordination, and confidence.

There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and happy noises as students learned that music is a fun and exciting way to express themselves and connect with others. 🎼💛

🍳🍓 The Great MMS Cooking Adventure! 🍓🍳

Our 1st–8th grade campers are cooking up something amazing in The Great MMS Cooking Adventure, led by Ms. Sherilyn Farris! Throughout the week, students are exploring a variety of recipes, kitchen skills, and teamwork as they prepare delicious dishes together. Each day brings new recipes for students to try, learn, and enjoy as they build confidence in the kitchen.

We kicked off Monday with a mouthwatering menu featuring blueberry crumb cake, pancakes with homemade fruit coulis toppings, and mini quiches—and that was just the beginning! 😋

This hands-on culinary camp is made even more special with the support of an incredible team of staff and helpers, including Ms. Joanne McFarland, Mr. Ryan Bain, Ms. Shannon Flores, Ms. Katie Ellison, Mr. Richard Aslanian, and alumni assistants Norris Ding and Caden Hollinger.

From measuring and mixing to tasting and teamwork, our young chefs are gaining creativity, collaboration skills, and a whole lot of kitchen fun! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳✨
