Our Summer Enrichment kiddos are learning about Ms. Opal Lee, the Grandmother of Juneteenth! We are listening to her story and writing our own on how to celebrate this holiday.

Simple questions like “What do you think?” or “Why do you think that happened?” encourage children to think, imagine, and communicate their ideas. Curiosity is an important part of learning.

You do not need a perfect singing voice to make an impact. Simple songs in the car, during bath time, or while cleaning up can help children learn while feeling connected and encouraged. 💚
