A lot of people come in not knowing what to expect. They're a little nervous, a little curious, and quietly wondering if they'll do it right.
There's nothing to do right.
You lie down. You breathe. You let your body lead. Some people feel emotional. Some notice physical releases they didn't expect. Some just feel deeply, finally rested.
Whatever comes up is exactly what's supposed to.

Between sessions, this is where a lot of the work happens — reading, researching, preparing, and sometimes just sitting with my own thoughts.
Running a healing practice is more personal than I expected. Every session stays with me long after it ends. The people I work with matter to me, and that doesn't just switch off.
This work chose me just as much as I chose it.

Every single one of these is real. I hear them all the time.
And every single one of those people walked out of their first session different than they walked in.
You don't have to come in ready. You don't have to be the right kind of person for breathwork. You don't need a dramatic story or a specific goal.
You just need to be willing to try. The breath does the rest. I just hold the space.

I say this with deep respect for therapy. I believe in it, and many of my clients are doing both.
But there is a real experience I hear over and over: "I have processed this so many times. I understand it. And I still feel it in my body."
That is not a failure of therapy. That is a limitation of any approach that works primarily with the mind.
Trauma and chronic stress do not just live in our thoughts. They live in our muscles, our breath patterns, our nervous system's baseline. They show up as tension that will not release, reactivity that surprises us, exhaustion that does not respond to rest.
Breathwork reaches those places. Not through analysis, but through the body itself.
If you have done the talk work and something still feels stuck, you might just need a different door.
I would love to be that for you. 💛

If you have suddenly felt more irritable, more overwhelmed, more emotional than you have ever been, and you have been told it is just stress or just getting older, I want you to know something.
What happens in your body during perimenopause is neurological. Estrogen does not just regulate your cycle. It regulates your mood, your sleep, your brain chemistry, your ability to handle stress.
When it starts to fluctuate, the nervous system can go into overdrive. Not because something is wrong with you. Because something is changing in you, and it needs support, not suppression.
Breathwork is one of the most direct ways I know to help your nervous system find its footing again during this transition. It is not a cure. But for many of my clients in their 40s and 50s, it has been the first thing that actually helped.
