Congratulations to Coronado Elementary School 6th grade teacher Lisa Christensen on receiving a $4,500 Salt River Project Classroom Grant! 🎉
The grant will support the "Switch-It Blocks" project, bringing innovative coding experiences to Coronado Coyotes and helping students build critical thinking, problem-solving, and technology skills through hands-on learning.

Congratulations to HUSD's Counseling Department for their incredible work supporting students through the FAFSA process!
Williams Field was recognized by the Arizona Board of Regents and College Ready AZ as the Most Improved Large Enrollment High School in Arizona with a 38% increase in FAFSA completion, while Higley High improved by 15% and earned statewide recognition. 👏
Thanks to the dedication of our counselors and staff, HUSD seniors also collectively earned more than $45 million in scholarships this year as they continue their educational journeys. 💙💛

More than a thousand graduates are answering the question: What's next?
And, they've already accomplished so many incredible things:
💰HUSD graduates cumulatively earned more than $47.7M in scholarships to attend colleges and universities.
🏅Twenty-eight HUSD graduates committed to play sports for colleges or universities.
🗺️585 students are going to colleges or universities, 18 will be entering military service, and 41 will be serving church missions.
📜HUSD students earned more than 600 industry certifications through career and technical education courses this school year.
💯More than 250 seniors graduated with a 4.0 or higher GPA.
The class of 2026 is ready for limitless opportunities!
