Today, the Gilbert Adult Learning Program was recognized at the 2026 Gilbert Chamber Annual Business Awards and received a Partner Award in recognition of our service to the Gilbert community. This recognition reflects the dedication of our students, instructors, staff, and community partners who make this work possible. 🌟

We are also incredibly grateful for the generous $1,000 scholarship donation from Gilbert Chamber Foundation which will help HSE students in need of financial assistance pay for GED exam fees and continue on their path to success. 🎓 Today was a good day for adult education. 💛

Last Friday, Gilbert Adult Learning Program was pleased to participate in the Arizona Association for Lifelong Learning (AALL) Board Retreat.

AALL is a statewide organization that supports adult education, lifelong learning, and professional development across Arizona.

We are proud to have three members of our program serving on the AALL Board of Directors. This year also marks a meaningful milestone, as our student, Amal, a COABE Student Ambassador, is serving as the board's first student member.

We appreciate the opportunity to collaborate with adult education leaders from across the state and support opportunities for adult learners.

On Friday, we celebrated the incredible achievements of our amazing students at this year's graduation ceremony! 🎓✨

We are so proud to announce that 44 students earned their HSE diplomas this year, with 32 walking in the ceremony. We also inducted 14 students into the National Adult Education Honor Society for their stellar academic dedication!

Congratulations to the Class of 2026! Your hard work and perseverance have paid off, and we can’t wait to see your continued success. 🌟

A huge thank you to the Gilbert High School student groups who helped make the day extra special: the Air Force Junior ROTC for presenting the colors, and the Advanced Vocal Ensemble for singing the National Anthem. We appreciate your amazing support!
