Welcome to GCS, Dr. Prygoski!

Please join us in welcoming Dr. Matthew Prygoski to Goshen High School as our new Engineering Teacher.

A Notre Dame graduate with bachelor's, master's, and Ph.D. degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Dr. Prygoski brings years of industry experience to the classroom, most recently serving as Director of Engineering at Orthopediatrics in Warsaw.

Our students will have the opportunity to learn from someone who has led engineering teams, developed innovative technologies, earned patents, and taught at the college level.

We're excited to see the impact Dr. Prygoski will have on the next generation of engineers and innovators at Goshen High School.

Now that you know GCS will be using Yondr pouches beginning next school year, we're here to tell you the reason why. So, why are student device expectations changing for the 2026-27 school year?

Earlier this year, Indiana lawmakers passed Senate Bill 78, requiring schools to limit student access to personal wireless communication devices during the school day.

As Goshen Community Schools implements this new requirement for students in grades 7-12, our goal is to create classrooms where students can focus on learning, engage with their teachers and peers, and minimize distractions during instructional time.

Congratulations to Ms. Ellen Longcor on being named the newest Assistant Principal at Goshen High School!

Ms. Longcor brings a wealth of experience, a passion for student success, and a deep commitment to Goshen Community Schools. Throughout her career, she has built strong relationships with students, staff, and families while helping create positive learning environments where all students can thrive.

We are excited to welcome her to the GHS administrative team and look forward to the impact she will have on our students and school community.

One chapter closes, and a new one begins.

Tonight, the Goshen High School Class of 2026 crossed the stage, turned their tassels, and officially became graduates.

As GCS School Board President Bradd Weddell challenged them during the ceremony, the question now becomes: What mark will the Class of 2026 leave on their community, their country, and their world?

Looking through these photos, it's clear that tonight was about more than diplomas. It was about friendships, families, teachers, memories, hugs, smiles, and the people who helped these graduates reach this moment.

The accomplishments of this class are impressive, but their greatest achievements are still ahead of them.

Congratulations, Class of 2026. Your community believes in you, your schools believe in you, and your families believe in you. Now it's time to believe in yourselves.

Go forward. Leave your mark.

Un capítulo se cierra y uno nuevo comienza.

Esta noche, la Clase de 2026 de la Escuela Secundaria Goshen cruzó el escenario, giró sus borlas y se convirtió oficialmente en graduados.

Como les desafió el presidente de la Junta Escolar de GCS, Bradd Weddell, durante la ceremonia, la pregunta ahora es: ¿Qué huella dejará la Clase de 2026 en su comunidad, su país y su mundo?
