Elise and Kathy are back from Denver, Colorado, energized and inspired after a week of learning, networking, and bringing back new ideas to support our students and employer partners!
On the final day of the conference, sessions focused on what employers are looking for in today's workforce, how colleges can better prepare students for career success, and the importance of fostering kindness in the workplace. Mainstage speaker Shola Richards shared powerful insights on workplace kindness, personal accountability, and the impact the energy we bring has on those around us.
We're excited to be back and are already exploring ways to incorporate these ideas into our programs, services, and partnerships to better support student career readiness and workplace success.
Thank you NACE for a GREAT conference! πβ¨

This week, Kathy and Elise are in Denver attending the NACE Conference and learning alongside career development professionals from across the world!
We're spending our time exploring new ideas, strategies, and best practices that will help us better support Nistler College students throughout their career development journeys. From sessions on AI and emerging workplace trends to discussions about helping students adapt and thrive in a rapidly changing world of work, we're gathering valuable insights and are super excited to bring everything back to campus.
Yesterday, we had the opportunity to hear from Lindsey Pollak on the different generations in todayβs workforce and how they can better understand, communicate, and collaborate with one another. Today, we heard from Ina Fried, who shared her insights on emerging AI trends and the ethical challenges surrounding the development, implementation, and use of artificial intelligence in different fields. Tomorrow will offer more exciting topics that we canβt wait to share too!
Weβre looking forward to putting what weβve learned into action and continuing our dedication to student success!π
