Last week, our members had the opportunity to attend The Southeast Regional Symposium with ALPFA, Inc at UNC Charlotte. Our members had the opportunity to learn how to navigate the corporate world. They attended professional development workshops and networked with many Latinx professionals. It was such an empowering event!
La semana pasada, nuestros miembros tuvieron la oportunidad de asistir al Simposio Regional del Sudeste con ALPFA, Inc en UNC Charlotte. Nuestros miembros tuvieron la oportunidad de aprender a navegar en el mundo corporativo. Asistieron a talleres de desarrollo profesional y se relacionaron con muchos profesionales latinos. This summer our ALPFA chapter had the opportunity to attend the ALPFA Convention in Orlando, Florida to celebrate its 50th year anniversary. Many of our members had the opportunity to network, attend workshops, and even secure internships and full-time positions with well known companies!
In addition, our chapter had the honor to accept the Southeast Chapter of the Year award! đ

Today, August 20th, is National Latina Day!
With that being said, this morning seven of our ladies participated in UNCGâs Spartan Service Day! They all worked together to help prepare a playground space at The New Arrivals Institute for local refugees! Thank you for representing ALPFA!
