🌞The GCS Summer Reading Challenge is BACK!
📚All students (PreK-12) who read and record 600 minutes of reading between June 11 and August 23 will be eligible for a ticket to Kersey Valley to use for the Corn Maze or the Family Christmas.
📖Students can read any materials that interest them, including our free district eBooks available through each school's Destiny Discover library catalog.

🌿 ✨Wellness Corner: Slow Down and "Summer"
☀️🍦🌴Summertime can be a welcome change of pace from the structure and schedule of the school year. While it's great to schedule camps, trips, and activities over the summer, we encourage you to also enjoy slow-down living.
Make sure some days have nothing on the schedule. Put away screens and let your kids be bored, as boredom begets creativity. Break out the board games, art supplies or start a 1v1 basketball tournament. The possibilities are endless!

| Summer meals will return to GCS starting on June 15!☀️🥪
Families have two options:
🍎Pick up seven days worth of breakfasts and lunch once a week at one of four meals-to-go sites; or
🍎Dine in for breakfast and lunch daily at any of our 13 summer meal distribution sites.
Families must register for the meals-to-go option and can not visit a meals-to-go and dine-in site during the same week.
