World Refugee Day Celebration – Greensboro
We are excited to share that Greensboro’s World Refugee Day celebration will take place on Saturday, June 20th, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Hester Park Soccer Fields (935 Ailanthus Street, Greensboro, NC).
This community event is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the contributions, resilience, and cultures of refugees in our community. There will be activities, food, entertainment, and opportunities to connect with families from all over the world.
We encourage everyone to attend if you are interested in meeting and interacting with our clients and learning more about the diverse communities we serve.
We hope to see you there!

A big shout out to the Carolina Core FC and Reading Connections for hosting last night’s Community Clinic! The kids had a blast playing soccer and getting autographs from the players.

The Refugee School Impact (RSI) team likes to hear and see our students making progress at school. We love to hear and see our parents making progress too as they directly communicate their thoughts and appreciation to their child’s teacher. Thank you TEACHERS!!!

What an exciting soccer match last night in High Point! The match ended in a shoot-out. Thank you Evan McIntyre and Carolina Core for the tickets. The Refugee School Impact (RSI) team, Angel Katona, and refugee youth had a great time. Getting autographs from the players on the pitch after the match was so much fun!

We wanted to send a huge thank you to Attorney Shaun Arnold from Legal Aid for coming to educate us here at NAI last month on housing concerns that may impact our clients. We are incredibly grateful to partner with such a valuable community resource that helps strengthen both our team and the clients we serve. Partnerships like these make our community stronger together. 💙

Did you know that NAI provides wraparound support services to refugees from Burlington/Alamance County to Salisbury/Rowan County?
This Burlington client is happy that her daughter will start Kindergarten next year. She is excited to join the Youth Mentoring (YM) program for 16-24 year old youth.
With the Refugee School Impact (RSI) and YM programs she would like to learn more about the public library 📚, explore educational opportunities other than high school, and go to the Zoo!
