Move up day was a stellar success! Our Kinder through 4th graders had a great time meeting their potential new teachers and getting a sneak peak about what they will be up to next year.

Ms. Williamsons’ class took their debate to the podium outdoors today. The topic? Which pirate from Treasure Island is better.

Exciting news! The Irving Park Energy Team has received a national award, and we will be going to Washington, DC for an energy conference at the end of June. We're organizing a fundraising event at Taco Mama from 5-9 pm on June 8 to help our team raise funds for the trip. Join us in celebrating the energy team's achievement by purchasing a delicious meal!

Getting slimed by students and staff on your birthday is sure to make it a memorable one. Happy Birthday to our wonderful principal Mrs. Leighty and thank you for keeping it fun at IPE every day!

Thanks to the generous donors to our annual walk the plank fundraiser, Irving Park students get to slime Mrs. Leighty on her birthday tomorrow, June 3rd! What a way to bring in a new decade! Students raised over $27,000 to fund teacher appreciation, school supplies, and much more!

We had a blast watching the Greensboro Grasshoppers take on the Spartanburgers during yesterday’s game! As the winner of our perfect pitch attendance race, Mrs. Jaryal threw out the first pitch of the game while our students performed a truly lovely version of the National Anthem.

As always, it’s lovely to see our community come together and show our pirate pride for all to see!
