Science Week got a little sweeter 😋

What happens when you crush chalk and add a little warm water? Magic! At least that’s what it looked like to our youngest scientists this week. 🧪🎨

We took learning outside and turned simple ingredients into colorful creations. The children mixed, explored, and painted while discovering that science and art go hand in hand.

The proof? Just take a look at our sidewalks they’re covered in colorful masterpieces and happy memories! 💕☀️

Today our campers turned into little scientists as they dropped colorful tablets into water and watched brand-new colors appear! The excitement on their faces as they discovered each new color was priceless. 🌈✨

🧪✨ Science Week Fun! ✨🧪

Today our little scientists took learning outside for an exciting Coca-Cola and Mentos experiment! Before they started, everyone made predictions about what might happen. Some children thought it would explode, some thought it would make a giant mess, and a few even guessed that Mrs. Rhonda was going to drink it! 😂

The best part wasn’t just seeing the fizzy eruption, it was watching the children think, wonder, question, and make observations like real scientists. Learning happens when children are encouraged to ask “What if?” and today was full of curiosity and excitement!

🔬💥 Science is all about exploring, predicting, and discovering and this class did all three today!

🌋🧪 Our three-year-olds had a blast creating their own personalized volcanoes today! They explored creativity, practiced fine motor skills, and experienced the excitement of a volcanic eruption firsthand. The smiles, laughter, and curiosity made for a memorable Science Week adventure!

Today we explored science through sorting! The children observed, compared, and grouped objects by their characteristics. Sorting helps children think like scientists as they learn to identify similarities, differences, and patterns in the world around them ☺️
