So hard to believe this was a year ago. We accomplished so much in our first year from finishing the construction aspects to recruiting students and staff to opening and having all our firsts. We are so grateful for all who journeyed with us and all who will!

| Today we take a moment to pause, reflect and honor the moment in history when the last enslaved Americans were informed of their freedom. Juneteenth continues to serve as a reminder of resilience and the importance of knowing our history.

In observance of Juneteenth, our office is closed. We reopen on Monday morning.

*Please note, in the summer the office is open M-Th til 5. We are closed to the public the week of June 29.

Ms. Wilson subbed for us this year some, and she told us all year we are her favorite! We’re excited to welcome her to the team!

She shared: I am so excited to be part of the wonderful VPA community next year! As someone that is very creative and has a musical background, I look forward to getting students engaged in learning through the arts.

She shared: Hi! My name is Sarah Cates. I'm so excited to come to Peeler-Hampton next year because of my background in gymnastics, dance, and visual arts. I can't wait to incorporate these into the curriculum!

She shared: I am really excited to see new faces and build meaningful connections with students and staff, watch each student grow and develop throughout the year, and collaborate with everyone to create a supportive and inspiring environment. I also look forward to the many exhibitions and showcases that will celebrate the hard work, creativity, and dedication of our students while bringing our school community together in exciting and memorable ways. Super excited to be joining the Dragon Family!
