By now, many of you have seen or heard that former DH Conley star/ECU Pirate Star/Detroit Tiger/NL Hitting Instructor BRYANT PACKARD has been named as ECU’s ⚾️Hitting Coach! Literally a life-changing hire. We are so pumped for Bryant….and the Pirates!
Bryant grew up in this building. Spent many years in here with his father John. Spent many years in here hitting with Coach Lance.
It’s been special to me, to watch my relationship with Bryant evolve as he’s gotten into coaching & teaching, gotten married, and moved into the adult world. A Fun Fact that many of you may not know is that I actually had the honor of Officiating Bryant & Claudia’s amazingly fun wedding😳. Truly an honor!
He is my friend. And I am so proud of him & excited for him. And excited for the job he’s going to do! Congratulations Bryant!

2026 NORTH CAROLINA BODY ARMOR STATE GAMES…
Had a chance yesterday, after we finished Day 1 of Camp, to jump in the car and bust over to High Point, NC to watch our NL/Region 1 guys do their workout.
We had a larger than normal group of guys run Sub-7 60s, a couple guys absolutely RIP throws from the OF, some solid glove work in infield, Catchers work…and several plus rounds of BP.
Also got to talk to a dozen or so different college coaches from multiple levels, along with Brandon Hall from PBR. It always helps to SEE what coaches are seeing in these workout/TRAIT days…
Now, for the next 4 days, these guys get to PLAY THE GAME. Time for pitchers to get to shine too.
Good luck to Tyce, Aiden, Brady, Rooke, Parker, Colby, Harrison, Chase, Joyner, Davis, Coleton, Caleb, Coach Pat McRae and all of the players getting to play the next 4 days in an event that I love...and college coaches & professional scouts do too!

We have quite a few of our NL people/our members/our kids, getting paid to play as Professionals. (Mid-Season Update coming later in the week on all of our other Professional Guys, and Gals). But among those being paid to play as Professionals, I can promise you that NO ONE is having more fun than BRANTLEY CUTLER! Brantley is employed by Cosmic Baseball, playing for the Glow Mojis & what a special last 2 weeks it’s been for him, as he’s gotten to play in his neck of the woods. The Eastern NC native was at a sold-out Durham Bulls Athletic Park playing this past Thurs-Sat. So many of our Next Level families got to go and support him & he was SO GRACIOUS & EXCITED to try to make everyone feel special. Coach Lance even got the chance to throw to Brantley in the 7th inning HR Derby! So proud of Brantley and how he’s using his platform. And so excited to see him so excited!

*9AM-All Sports Camp Begins
*9AM-High School Male Strength & Speed Class Resumes
*10AM-Rising Freshman Strength & Speed Class Resumes
*11AM-Middle School Strength & Speed Class Resumes
*12:30pm-2pm our 9-12 Year Old ⚾️Clinic (thru Thursday)
We realize many of our members are away playing ⚾️this week in FL, GA or at the Body Armor State Games, but we’re looking forward to seeing the rest of you!
Due to the above, member traffic will be much heavier before 2pm than after!

A productive Friday, with a REALLY FUN, TALENTED & TOUGH group of young 🥎players, at today’s 🥎Teaching Clinic. The temperature was no joke today. Kudos to these girls. And proud of our staff as well! Coach Ben, Coach Anna, Coach Tim, Haven, Ava & Lena. Tip of the cap to all!
And…as you’ll see in the 1st picture, sometimes, THE BEST ABILITY, is the ABILITY to find Air Conditioning, when you get a quick break, hahaha😂

🚨TODAY’S SCHEDULE REMINDER🚨
HAVEN wanted to point out (see what I did there?😊) that TODAY, FRIDAY, we have……
A SOLD-OUT 🥎 CLINIC FOR OUR OLDER GIRLS.
9AM-12PM the entire infield will be being utilized for teaching/drilling/competing. We will be in other parts of the facility as well, but the 6 cages closest to the lobby ARE OPEN during that time.
All bullpens will need to wait til after 12pm. Thanks!

TODAY, we have 2 more Little people Teaching Clinics.
8:30am-10:30am 🥎
11am-1pm ⚾️.
The facility IS OPEN FOR REGULAR BUSINESS during these clinics & the first 6 cages are available, BUT THE INFIELD WILL BE TAKEN & UNAVAILABLE for large chunks of time during these clinics. This would include mound areas.

Looking forward to resuming PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT next week with our rising 6th-8th grade boys.
Our MIDDLE SCHOOL BOYS STRENGTH & SPEED SUMMER SESSION begins next Monday at 11am. 3 days per week in Summer. This group will run until next Spring school ⚾️ season begins, but we program it in increments of Summer, Fall and Winter, to allow for kids playing Fall or Winter sports. See you next week men…ready to get Stronger, Faster, More Stable, More Explosive & More Athletic!
