Who says summer learning isn’t fun? β˜€οΈπŸ΄β€β˜ οΈ

This week, our Pirate scholars dove into exciting STEAM activities! They put their creativity and problem-solving skills to work by building boats, erupting volcanoes, creating sock puppets, and designing marshmallow bridges. Our scholars did an amazing job exploring, collaborating, and learning through hands-on experiences!

Next week, we will embark on a Safari of Reading adventure. Scholars will journey through a variety of engaging stories while participating in interactive learning activities that bring reading to life.

We are proud of all the hard work and enthusiasm our scholars continue to show throughout Extended School Year. Keep up the great work, Pirates!

Our scholars had the opportunity to visit Joyner Library today, and they were so excited to see all of the cool new things at the TRC Center! They explored the amazing study areas, saw the cannon, and even had an opportunity to explore coding.
One of the highlights of the day was receiving books with blank pages… because we are creating future Pirate Authors! πŸ“šπŸ΄β€β˜ οΈβœπŸ½
A huge thank you to Ms. Loope and friends for providing our scholars with such an amazing and memorable day!

Today our scholars had the opportunity to watch the hooding ceremony for Dr. Cole. Although she graduated on Friday, our scholars were busy hard at work, so today we took time to celebrate her amazing accomplishment. We enjoyed cupcakes, lots of treats, and shared in the excitement of this special moment.
Congratulations, Dr. Cole, on your huge accomplishment! We are so proud of you and wish you continued success on your journey.
