🏕️ Our Discoverers headed to camp today! They learned all about camping essentials, setting up camp, outdoor safety, and the importance of teamwork while exploring nature. 🌲🧭 To top off our camping experience, we enjoyed a delicious s’mores treat around our pretend campfire! 🔥🍫🍪 There’s nothing sweeter than learning through hands-on experiences and making memories with friends!

How high should your four-year-old be able to count? When do children typically recognize letters? What if potty training isn’t clicking yet?
Even with endless information online, parenting can feel confusing.
Legacy Academy for Children’s copyrighted curriculum is designed with age-appropriate milestones to help identify learning needs and support each child’s development, based on their unique abilities.
Have questions? We’re here to help. Give us a call to learn more.

There’s no better way to cool down on a hot summer day than water play!
At each Legacy Academy, children enjoy plenty of opportunities for outdoor fun: from water play areas to covered patios and age-appropriate playgrounds. It’s always about learning at Legacy; and when it comes to outdoor play, we make sure they’re staying cool, staying active, and making friends and joyful summer memories.

Noticing a shift in your baby’s sleep as the days grow longer?
Sleep regressions are a normal part of development, and daylight peeking around the nursery can make it harder for little ones to stick to their usual routine.
If you’ve already darkened the room and your baby is still struggling, check the temperature. A cool, dark environment can make a big difference in helping them settle back into healthy sleep patterns.
And remember, you’re not alone. Your baby’s teachers at Legacy Academy have lots of experience and are always happy to share what works.

✨ Our summer campers put their creativity to the test with a Mickey Mouse sketching challenge! 🎨🐭

We were blown away by the imagination, effort, and artistic talent on display. Congratulations to our winners!🥇🥈🥉

Every camper did an amazing job bringing their artwork to life on paper. We love seeing creativity shine during summer camp! ☀️❤️

When life gives you lemons… make lemonade! 🍋💛

Our little entrepreneurs had a blast making fresh lemonade and delivering free samples to our amazing teachers today. From squeezing lemons to serving smiles, they practiced teamwork, kindness, and confidence every step of the way.

A sweet treat made even sweeter by sharing it with others! 🥤✨

That summer sun feels amazing, but it’s worth remembering: many skin cancers are linked to sun exposure from decades earlier.
The burns we get as kids and teens, our skin remembers.
That doesn’t mean we avoid the outdoors (and at Legacy Academy, we are outside every day!) It does means we enjoy it wisely.
• Apply (and reapply!) sunscreen
• Wear hats and protective clothing
• Take shade breaks during peak hours
• Model sun safety for your children so they grow up with healthy habits.
