Congratulations! Cherrydale Elementary reading interventionist Terrell Brown is the 2027 South Carolina Education Association Teacher of the Year. He will represent the state at the National Education Association Foundation’s Teaching Excellence Awards.

"It is a distinct honor to represent Greenville County and the Upstate community, as well as the individuals who support my advocacy initiatives,” Mr. Brown said.

All kids under 18 years can get free breakfast at 8:30am and lunch 11:30am at participating schools. The closest to Cherrydale is Duncan Chapel Elementary :)

The PTA is a group of Cherrydale parents, teachers, and community members like YOU who step up to empower our students to be the best they can be. It takes a village and we couldn't do it without YOU!

It is hard to believe that it's the last week of school! Remember to send your student with a change of clothes on Water Day and that the last THREE days are Half Days! Teachers sent out invitations in student folders if they are receiving an award. There is so much to celebrate this year!
