As we tip off Week 2 of Nike Basketball Camp, let’s take a look back at an incredible first week on the court! 🏀⚓

Led by Moreau Catholic Boys Varsity Basketball Coach Frank Knight, campers learned new skills, built confidence, and had a blast alongside an outstanding coaching staff and current and former Mariner Boys and Girls Basketball players.

From fundamentals and teamwork to plenty of fun and competition, Week 1 set the tone for an unforgettable summer.

We can’t wait to see what Week 2 has in store!

Today we celebrate Juneteenth, a day that commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans and honors the ongoing pursuit of freedom, justice, and equality.🖤💚❤️💛

As a Holy Cross school, we are called to recognize the dignity of every person and to stand in solidarity with one another as we work toward a more just and compassionate world.

☀️ Summer is off to an incredible start at Moreau Catholic!

Our campers have been busy learning, creating, and exploring since the first day of Camp Moreau and Full S.T.E.A.M. Ahead on June 15.

Camp Moreau was honored to welcome Hayward City Councilmember Francisco Zermeño, who spent time reading with our campers and sharing the joy of storytelling.

Meanwhile, our Full S.T.E.A.M. Ahead students have been putting their creativity and problem-solving skills to work in the Moreau Catholic Maker Lab, exploring robotics, 3D design, and hands-on innovation.

From books to bots, it’s already been a summer full of discovery, imagination, and Mariner spirit! ⚓💙

🇸🇻 “To educate hearts and minds” reaches far beyond the classroom.

Moreau Catholic students recently traveled to El Salvador for an unforgettable Immersion Trip led by Mr. Reaker and Ms. Catalan. From visiting the Museo de la Revolución Salvadoreña and El Morazán, to experiencing the beauty of San Salvador’s beaches, visiting a local school, and learning more about the history, resilience, and spirit of the Salvadoran people, our Mariners embraced every opportunity to learn, reflect, and grow together.

Experiences like these challenge our students to see the world through a wider lens. 💚💛

This Memorial Day, we honor the heroes who gave their lives in service to our nation. 🇺🇸

May we remember their courage, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to others with gratitude and prayer.
