HISTORY

LMCA began with 24 students and 4 staff members in 1989. We are the first and oldest kindergarten through 12th grade private school in Henderson. Sue Blakeley, continues to lead the Lake Mead Christian Mini

stries team. Combined with many long-term staff members, the LMCM family contribute on a daily basis to the accomplishment of our mission and core values. ENROLLMENT

Lake Mead Christian Academy provides education and child care for infants through 12th grade. The North campus is home to our Middle and High School at 655 E. The South campus at 540 E. caters to infants through 6th grade. Our 2019-2020 total enrollment average is over 700 students. Each year a high percentage (ranging 86-95%) of LMCA's graduating seniors go on to enter colleges. A strong number qualify for scholarship opportunities. This is impressive when you consider that LMCA does not pretest students to qualify for admission. Our student base represents students of many ability levels. LMCA admits students of any race, color, nationality, and ethnic origin. ORGANIZATIONAL AFFILIATIONS

Lake Mead Christian Academy is a private Christian school overseen by a Board of Directors. We are registered as a Nevada corporation. We are recognized as a private exempt school by the Nevada Department of Education assuring that each grade level completed or credit earned is fully transferable. LMCA is a long-term member of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). We are ACSI accredited at the secondary level. We are members of the Nevada Interscholastic Athletic Association (NIAA) Division AA for high school sports and members in other leagues for elementary and junior high sports. CAMPUS

In 1995, LMCA was the grateful recipient of 5.6 acres of land by the LandWell Company. Two major building projects fully built out the campus with over 60,000 square feet of permanent buildings which include over 40 classrooms and offices, along with a commercial cafeteria, full service coffee shop, gymnasium and maintenance building. Our North Campus houses our middle and high school as well as a football field.

From exploring different countries through fun activities to one of our favorite LM Camp traditions, the Annual Camp Olympics, this week was packed with excitement, teamwork, laughter, and unforgettable memories!

Watching our campers cheer each other on, compete with great sportsmanship, and build new friendships is what LM Camp is all about. 💙

A huge congratulations to our very own Gavin Rodriguez and Brycen Morales on their performances in Newsies with Super Summer Theatre! 👏🗞️

We love seeing our students use their God-given talents both on and off campus, and these two represented LMCA so well on stage. The countless hours of rehearsals, hard work, dedication, and passion that go into a production like this do not go unnoticed.

We are incredibly proud of both of you and can’t wait to see where your talents take you next. Bravo on a fantastic run of shows! 🦅🎶

One last trip together before graduation!

Watching the Class of 2026 laugh together on the beach, soak in these final moments, and make memories they’ll carry forever is so special. These seniors are more than a class… they are family. 🦅

Over the years, we’ve watched them grow into leaders, athletes, artists, worshippers, and incredible young men and women. Many of them have spent most of their lives here at LMCA, and it’s hard to believe their journey as students is almost complete.

We are so proud of every single one of them and so grateful for the impact they’ve made on this school community. What a beautiful group of seniors to celebrate. 🎓💙
