Hoboken HS Student Activities

All of the New Jersey troupes attending gathered today to take a picture to capture the amazing pride that both students and adults have for their state.

We are appreciative of all the memories we are able to have here at the International Thespian Festival.

Many of Redwings spent Tuesday morning dancing their hearts away at a K-Pop inspired dance class where they learned that choreography is not only about the physical movements, but also the emotion and drive of the person telling the story. It was fun, insightful, and freeing. Other activities throughout the day included a panel with the Come From Away creative team. In this, Irene Sankoff and David Hein discussed the process of creating the show, putting it on Broadway, and eventually creating it for high schools to perform.

We also want to shout out Tyler Mara, Kevin Melendez and Jayden Rosser for their college callbacks! These students auditioned and applied for the opportunity to receive scholarships and acceptance opportunities to different colleges and universities around the country!

Travel day of trip passed with flying colors as Hoboken High School Thespians Troupe 7268 arrived at Bloomington, Indiana for the International Thespian Festival.

Our Thespian Redwings were invited to participate in the festival opening ceremony, which will be in front of all attending schools from around the world! This is a great honor and we are so excited to showcase what the Redwings can bring to the table!
