Family dynamics they call it. 🥴

When you are raising little ones it’s a never ending chaotic mess… order? Ok whatever… you do all you can and still sometimes it feels like it isn’t enough. Once you may think you got the hang of it and another one comes along or becomes a new age which seems like a foreign substance you never experienced before. This was maybe 4 years ago. Just about. Only 4 years and these little ones are double the size, grown into their own lovely personality, have their own special talents and giftings and maybe on occasion drive one of their care givers crazy. But every time spent, every time out, long lecture, training, or walking them through something or another paid off… even only 4 years later… something beautiful budded or bloomed. They grow. And then you wish they were small again. So let’s just pause and embrace the right now… find the pleasure of life and mess. And know each of the ones you hold is a gift. Mine are all in their 20’s and I’m seeing my lectures may be working! 🤪😵‍💫🙄🧘🏻‍♀️😉😎

I been cutting hair since I was 15. I grew up w 3 younger brothers, then got myself a husband and 5 kids so practiced my bowl cuts on them since it was in style.. not. Now w YouTube you can learn so much! I’m ready for the fade and I think I can do a pretty good layered cut I just need models that don’t mind me taking longer then normal. 👩🏻‍💻. Haha.

These two together can whip up the best meal and feed a whole big party, they can find simple or out of the box things to do to fill their time or just clean the yard. They buy multiple dogs together, surf, dance hula, and are two of the most generous people I know… sometimes to a fault. They are confident and secure, spicy sometimes extra sauce, love children, love their family and are very protective sisters. 😊 And they make life so nice and easy for me… they teach me so much about myself and give me the space to just be and be old(er) and enjoy the moment rather then do the work to create it because that is what they do now. Getting old(er)😊 has its downfalls because gravity is real, but it also has many more ups.. and this is one lovely one…I’m glad I get to enjoy it in a different way now.. because these two and the rest of my girls make it happen for me.❤️ (getting old(er) and getting better!) SO BLESSED to pass down our love for surfing to all who come! I would have NEVER thought or dreamed this would be my life! I didn’t surf till 20…well ok 21! So how would I have childhood dreams of teaching others how to surf! But I can’t be more thankful that this is our job, lifestyle, and love. We have the greatest team of instructors and team that have a love for surf, and understand the gift of sharing our love for the ocean, surfing, and Waikiki. 🙏🏽

For those of you who are asking wondering how Josh is doing… he is progressing and that’s to Bart and the crew at ! Bart has taken care of my whole family for their injuries and rehab and is the best sports therapist in this island. He was a like a big brother to my kids and understands them as athletes. So thankful… so so so thankful. ❤️🙏🏽
