🌟 A Student Success Worth Celebrating

One of my students woke up at 6:30 AM before school to read an entire novel with me this school year.

Not once did this student complain or ask to stop… even on the mornings when I think we were both ready to sleep in a little more. β˜€οΈπŸ“š

Yes, we worked on literacy skills, but something even more important grew along the way: confidence, perseverance, and the belief that hard things can become easier with consistency and effort.β€οΈπŸ™Œ

This MAP Growth data reflects the steady progress of one of the students I worked with during this school year, a first-grade student diagnosed with dyslexia and dysgraphia.

I began working with this student during the fall of first grade in 2025, and since then, we have continued to see steady overall growth across multiple testing periods over time.

Progress does not always happen overnight. Meaningful growth often happens through structured instruction, consistency, practice, confidence-building, and continued support over time.

And while test scores are only one piece of the bigger picture, consistent growth is always encouraging to see. πŸŒ±πŸ“š
