Is it just me or did this year fly by like a time-lapse video?
Here are two things I’m taking from 2025 as I head into 2026:
Lesson 1: If I don’t slow down and make time for the little things, they’ll pass by without me even noticing.
Lesson 2: Unless I’m super intentional about the big things, I won’t get them done.
The good news? I can work on both by being more deliberate about how I spend my time. Afterall, the older I get, the more precious time becomes...
The *real* good news is the gift of looking back on a year that flew by and realizing that I get to decide what the next one feels like!
Here’s to making 2026 a banner year all around!
💬 What’s one thing you want MORE of in 2026?

It’s tempting to curl up and stay indoors all winter, but even a quick walk outside has lots of healthy benefits for us 'older' folks.
🌬️ The cold air wakes you up and feels refreshing. (Especially if you're the type to get hot flashes.)
⏱️ You can often exercise longer without overheating, thereby boosting your endurance.
☀️ Sunlight supports mood, vitamin D, and your sleep cycles. (all of which we could improve upon)
🛡️ Regular exercise outdoors strengthens your immune system.
🤔 I'm curious ... 💬 Do you love winter walks, or do you need a little push to get out the door?
