6 CREAMY MASHED POTATO RECIPES ๐Ÿฅ”๐Ÿงˆ๐Ÿง€

1. CLASSIC CREAMY MASHED POTATOES

Ingredients:

2 lb potatoes, peeled and chopped
4 tbsp butter
1/2 cup warm milk or heavy cream
Salt and black pepper to taste
Fresh parsley

Instructions:
Boil the potatoes until soft. Drain well, then mash with butter and warm milk until creamy. Season with salt and black pepper. Top with extra melted butter and parsley.

2. MASHED POTATOES WITH GRAVY

Ingredients:

2 lb potatoes
4 tbsp butter
1/2 cup warm milk
Salt and pepper
1 cup brown gravy

Instructions:
Boil and mash the potatoes with butter, milk, salt, and pepper until smooth. Serve in a bowl and pour warm brown gravy over the top.

3. LOADED MASHED POTATOES

Ingredients:

2 lb mashed potatoes
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup crispy bacon pieces
1/3 cup sour cream
Green onions
Salt and pepper

Instructions:
Prepare creamy mashed potatoes, then mix in some cheddar cheese while hot. Top with more cheese, bacon, sour cream, and green onions. Serve warm.

4. GARLIC PARMESAN MASHED POTATOES

Ingredients:

2 lb potatoes
4 tbsp butter
1/2 cup warm milk or cream
4 roasted garlic cloves
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
Parsley or thyme
Salt and pepper

Instructions:
Boil the potatoes until tender. Mash with butter, warm milk, roasted garlic, and parmesan cheese. Add herbs, salt, and pepper. Serve with extra parmesan on top.

5. MASHED POTATO CASSEROLE

Ingredients:

3 cups mashed potatoes
1 cup shredded cheese
1/2 cup chopped ham or bacon
1/3 cup sour cream
2 tbsp butter
Parsley

Instructions:
Mix mashed potatoes with sour cream, cheese, and ham or bacon. Place in a baking dish, top with more cheese and small pieces of butter. Bake at 375ยฐF for 20โ€“25 minutes until golden and bubbly.

6. MASHED POTATOES WITH CREAMY MUSHROOM SAUCE

Ingredients:

2 lb mashed potatoes
2 tbsp butter
1 cup sliced mushrooms
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup beef or chicken broth
Salt, pepper, and parsley

Instructions:
Cook mushrooms in butter until golden. Add garlic, broth, and heavy cream. Simmer until thick and creamy. Serve over warm mashed potatoes and garnish with parsley.

Butter Croissants

Ingredients
โ€ข 3 cups flour
โ€ข 2 tbsp sugar
โ€ข 1 tsp yeast
โ€ข 1/2 tsp salt
โ€ข 1 cup warm milk
โ€ข 2 tbsp melted butter
โ€ข 200 g cold butter (for layering)
โ€ข 1 egg (for brushing)

Steps
1. Mix warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Let sit for 5โ€“10 mins until foamy.
2. Add flour, salt, and melted butter. Mix into a soft dough and knead until smooth.
3. Cover and chill dough for 30 minutes.
4. Roll dough into a rectangle and place cold butter in the center. Fold and roll out several times to create layers. Chill between folds if needed.
5. Roll dough thinly and cut into triangles.
6. Roll each triangle into a croissant shape.
7. Place on tray and let rise for 30โ€“45 mins.
8. Brush with egg wash.
9. Bake at 200ยฐC (390ยฐF) for 15โ€“20 minutes until golden brown.

Ingredients

donut dough

- 2 1/4 cups flour
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp instant yeast
- 3/4 cup warm milk
- 1 egg
- 3 tbsp butter
- pinch of salt

filling

- 1 cup cream cheese
- 1/3 cup biscoff spread
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar

topping

- melted biscoff spread
- crushed biscoff cookies
- powdered sugar

Procedure

- mix flour, sugar, yeast, and salt
- add warm milk, egg, and butter
- knead until smooth soft dough forms
- let dough rise until doubled
- shape dough into small balls
- let rise again until puffy
- fry until golden brown
- beat cream cheese, biscoff spread, and powdered sugar until smooth
- fill cooled donuts with cheesecake mixture
- drizzle melted biscoff spread over top
- sprinkle crushed biscoff cookies and powdered sugar before serving

Thereโ€™s something about a proper homemade oat biscuit that just feels like a warm hugโ€ฆ and when you add a smooth chocolate base? Game over.

Because it's eggless and so good it will add a smile to even the most miserable people!

Ingredients
Biscuits:
100g unsalted butter (softened)
100g light brown soft sugar
50g golden syrup
125g rolled oats
ยฝ tsp bicarbonate of soda
ยฝ tsp sea salt
150g wholemeal plain flour

Chocolate Topping:
100g milk chocolate (melted)

๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿณ Make it
Preheat your oven to 180ยฐC (160ยฐC fan) and line 2โ€“3 baking trays with parchment paper.
In a bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, and golden syrup until smooth and well combined.
Add the oats, bicarbonate of soda, salt, and flour. Mix until a soft dough forms.
Scoop heaped tablespoons of dough (about a 4cm scoop), roll into balls, and place onto your prepared trays.
Gently press each ball down halfway to flatten slightly.

Bake for 12โ€“15 minutes, until golden brown around the edges.
Leave the biscuits to cool completely on the trays โ€“ theyโ€™ll firm up as they cool.
Once cooled, melt the chocolate and spread about a teaspoon onto the base of each biscuit, smoothing to the edges.
Allow the chocolate to set at room temperature or pop them in the fridge for quicker results.

Ingredients

Dough

โ€ข 2 tbsp sugar
โ€ข 1 tsp yeast
โ€ข 1/2 tsp salt

Filling
โ€ข 1/4 cup butter
โ€ข 1/2 cup brown sugar
โ€ข 1 tbsp cinnamon

Glaze (Optional)

Steps
1. Mix warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Let sit 5โ€“10 mins.
2. Add flour, salt, butter, and egg. Knead into soft dough. Let rise 1 hour.
