Don't forget to join the Sinclair PTO at Jaycee Park this Saturday, June 20 from 6:30-8PM for our first social of the summer! We hope to see you there!

For anyone who would like to request GT testing, please complete the interest form. This is an interest form, it does NOT register you for the test. More information on testing will come separately from the district to the email you provide on the interest form. Please be aware students who have not been GT identified will be automatically GT tested in 2nd grade.

If you’re watching Portugal vs Congo tomorrow, June 17, you may see a familiar face. William M (class of 2026) was selected as a child ambassador to walk out with the players before kickoff. Be sure to tune in around 11:30 prior to kickoff to catch a glimpse of him!

Sinclair Elementary School supply kits for the 26-27 school year are available at Sprout School Supplies through July 7, 2026. Each kit will contain the exact supplies requested by grade level and kits will be shipped directly to Sinclair and delivered to your student's classroom prior to the first day of school. Please be aware this is NOT a PTO Fundraiser, sales through Sprout are offered as a courtesy and neither the PTO or school receive funds from Sprout. If you'd prefer to shop on your own grade level lists can be found on the PTO website.

Please know the PTO will NOT order extra kits. If you do not order you will need to purchase supplies on your own.

In the 26-27 school year, Sinclair will no longer be a part of the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) program. As a result, school lunch will no longer be free to all students. Instead, families will need to complete a Free/Reduced-Price Meal Application to determine eligibility for free or reduced-price lunch meals.

To apply for free or reduced-price meals, please complete the HISD School Nutrition Meal Application beginning July 22, 2026. The link can be found on ParentSquare and in our bio.

This summer we encourage families to continue to care for an enjoy our garden. When you visit Sinclair please feel free to water the plants, w**d the beds and in between the beds, and harvest the vegetables.

If anyone has a ride on mower that is willing to help maintain the lawn, please let us know!

perfectgchtx is out here turning Sinclair a beautiful shade of Sherwin-Williams Dignity Blue, and the new trim color is really making our mural by RoseToro pop!

Between the trim, the murals, and the sunshades, families will feel like they are walking into a brand new school come August!

Please be aware that due to a schedule conflict, 3rd grade Meet the Teacher will take place on Thursday, August 6 from 4-5:30PM. ONLY 3rd grade teachers will be available during this time.

All other grades (PreK, K, 1, 2, 4, and 5) will have Meet the Teacher on Friday, August 7 from 4-6PM.
