DeBusk Enrichment Center of Texas is still going strong here in the Heart of Houston! ❤️

In the Clay Creations course, scholars are working hard to create different sculptures, ranging from animals to foods, and understand the world of 3D art. In the Edible Art course, scholars made their own icing that they will be using to decorate their cookies! 🍪 Lastly, in Friends, Romans, Countrymen, soldiers worked on drills, learning parade rest and how to stand at attention! 🪖

It is wonderful to watch the scholars keep learning and discovering new things!

Happy Feast of Corpus Christi! 🕊️

The Feast of Corpus Christi, also known as the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, is a Catholic celebration of the real presence of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist—and thus a sacred reminder that, in every Mass, Jesus’ one sacrifice of Calvary is sacramentally made present and offered anew for “the forgiveness of the sins we daily commit” (CCC 1366).

Happy Feast of the Most Holy Trinity! 🕊️❤️‍🔥

God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him might not perish but might have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him will not be condemned, but whoever does not believe has already been condemned, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. —John 3:16-18

Pass the Plaid, IWA’s annual uniform sale, was a great success! Pass the Plaid is a long-standing tradition where IWA families are able to give back and help each other prepare for the upcoming school year. Special thanks to our Falcon Family Club for helping to organize and run this event! 👚 ❤️
